Education Show 2014

Come and visit us at the Education Show 2014 from the 20-22 March 2014.

We are stand number C31-B32.

This year we have a number of innovative and exciting new resources to show you. Here's a preview of what we will be showcasing:

The world’s first technology that brings audio and video to paper, easily! Use your own drawings, diagrams, mind maps or even downloads printed on paper and add audio and video to your 'hotspots'. A simple and effective way of creating interactive content straight onto paper. The A3-sized viVOS is ideal for collaborative and group learning activities, and can even be used to engage kinaesthetic learners. viVOS has the unique ability to bring sound and video to homemade collages and other creations that can be 'felt'.Watch our fantastic demo of a volcano erupting, straight from a poster!

Lingua TABlet with the School Registration App enables teachers and school staff to collect details of new arrivals, and those who have difficulty with English, easily and effectively. It is far cheaper than paying for interpreters to come to your school. The App has 67+ core questions in an ever growing list of languages including Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, French, Hungarian, Kurdish, Lithuanian, Panjabi, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Sylheti (Bangladesh)... Collect all the information you need from new arrivals, including basic info, likes and dislikes, allergies, religion and interests.

LinguaTALK MFL pack

Designed with the generalist teacher in mind, this innovative new language learning course provides everything needed to teach MFL with confidence and ease. Multi-sensory structured learning for either French or Spanish, with interactive activities to help pupils progress from word through phase to sentence levels.

YouCreate is our free 'desktop publishing' software that you can download onto your Mac or PC, and then use to create your own personalised publications.

YouCreate has the unique feature of ensuring that each page has at least two soundspots, so that you can add personal recordings using PENpal. This way, you have the tools to create something together as a group, class or even as a school. Pupils can make anything from subject-specific projects to photobooks of trips or special events. Whether yearbooks, storybooks or even project books - the skills developed in writing effectively and concisely, changing and positioning images, narrating audio and sound editing, and generally collating the three separate aspects together, will all be beneficial at both KS2 and KS3 levels.
