The children's classic, Do You Want to be My Friend? by Eric Carle has been made into Story Prop Cards.
Finding a friend is not that easy. The little mouse knows that too. She runs from animal to animal and asks "Do you want to be my friend?" The brown horse says "No!", The green crocodile also says "No!" and the colorful peacock also says "No!" In the end, the little mouse still finds the longed-for friend. How? That will not be revealed. As in the well-known picture book classic by Eric Carle, the tail of each animal can already be seen in the previous picture. This way, the children can guess which animal the mouse may encounter next.
As the doors of the Kamishibai DesktopTheatre open, audiences will guess, picture by picture, which animal the mouse will encounter next! The Story Props reveal one by one many different creatures, all of whom refuse to be the mouse's friend until a fellow mouse appears! The Kamishibai Story Props take one of the most popular children's stories, and use it's familiar images to encourage children to re-tell the story, develop their vocabulary, confidence and social skills.
All our story props come in reusable grip seal bags for easy storage and retrieval.
